:: sickness ::
 I will admit, I LOVE Fall. Everything about it.
But could we PLEASE do without the SICKNESS?
It's already started in our house. Brock and Cohen have already had a flu bug.
We've all had nasty colds, and our coughs are still lingering.
BOO.
On a positive note - I've received some
of my best snuggles from both my boys during this sickness time.
This morning was the best from Co.
We both had our slippers on, laying on the couch watching cartoons.
Brock has been Mr. Mom when needed.
How lucky am I?
VERY.
GOAL: stay healthy until summer comes again.

:: a one year old boy ::
 It has begun.
Bumps, bruises and finally A BLOODY NOSE.
Poor guy.
If only he could have kept his balance while dancing by the kitchen chair.
A little trip and a big fall....
BLOODY NOSE.
He cried for about 10 seconds then stopped when I said it was tubby time.
Then he was all smiles of course.
This is the toughest little guy I know.
And I love him.
ALOT.

:: football fans ::
{Brock, Co & I, Jade & Tiffy}

I guess you could say we're football fans.
We splurged and bought season tickets with Brock's sister and her husband.
This was Cohen and I's first game of the season, and he did surprisingly WELL.
Here's why....
THE MAGIC SUCKER.
He ate it til it was all gone.
GOOD BOY.
Go Cougs.

:: tribute to KALZA ::
 {Char, Me & Co, Brock, Ben & Troy, Reed & Brooklyn - Mel taking the pic}
**All pics from Mel's camera taken July 2010. THANKS MELIS!
THE KALZA KIDS:

We make every moment count when we're together.
And the mama's LOVE their babies.
Cohen LOVES to play with my necklace. He'll stick it in my mouth and wait for me to spit it out. He laughs, and does it again.

Sweet little Brooklyn. She makes me SMILE! Can't wait to snuggle her soon.
Mr. Blue Eyes Troy....Heart-breaker.
Cohen LOVES a tramp anywhere he goes.
I LOVE this pic. Mel is tickling Cohen and the picture makes me HEAR his laugh.
I wish she could tickle him EVERYDAY.
And that's KALZA.
Pretty much KALZA babies. They are the cutest out of all of us anyways, and the daddy's were busy playing football.
This is such a good memory I had to post it. Thanks Mel for the great pics! Obviously I couldn't pick and choose a few so I used them ALL. {what's new}
I LOVE YOU GUYS!
November, would ya hurry up and get here, please??
Thanks.

:: carnival ::
The other day there was a carnival by our house.
There was free lunch, free cotton candy, free snow cones, free train ride, and free games to win free prizes. We did it all.
Fishing in the "pond".
He just couldn't figure out that dang fishing pole,
so the smart kid just grabbed fish with his hands.
He loved his balloon monkey with a banana.
Good thing, cause we stood in line for an hour to get it.
The COKE Bear was even there.
Bottom right picture - Brock just finding out that we had to get Co's hand stamped before we waited in the HUGE line to ride the train.
They got out right after, got his hand stamped and waited in line once again.
Sigh.
Daddy playing tug-of-war, they lost before I could get a pic.
Cohen exploring while we waited in line for his balloon monkey.
The carnival was a success.
:: Cohen @ 15 months ::
{Cohen @ the Library which is one of our new favorite places to be}
Cohen is now 22 lbs.
Height is unknown, but I'm sure it's not more than 1/2 an inch from his one year check up.
New things about Cohen:
he has 3 molars
{total of 11 teeth, k9's coming soon}
he loves sing-a-long songs in the car
just got over his 1st flu bug, threw up twice
{note: that was he ALL TIME 1ST sickness ever}
he randomly comes and gives me little snuggles throughout the day
 he says 2 and 3 when counting with me
he will copy almost any word we say - most sound pretty similar
saying more words: two, three, please, bless you
{when someone sneezes, but is not very clear at all}
loves to push Abigail's stroller
he's not just walking but RUNNING now
when let loose outside he walks up the stairs to Abs and knocks
 he's getting more "ouwees" all the time {how do you spell that?!}
he loves to lift up your shirt and say "title" and tickle your belly
 I love Cohen.
He loves playing with friends.
Maybe he needs a playmate? Yikes.
:: big boy haircut ::
 OH MY GOODNESS. Why is he big?!?
I actually had a REALLY hard time doing this.
You all may think "it doesn't look that different", oh but it does.
And I cut one pretty big pile of BABY hairs off my baby.
Hmmm. Not QUITE sure how I feel about it.
But how handsome is he now??? WAY.
 Handsome boy Cohen with a big boy haircut!!
Good job being brave buddy.
It only tickled him a little, and didn't hurt at all.
That's my boy.
There will be MANY more cuts by Mommy in the future.
:: popsicle boy ::
This little one LOVES popsicles.
Now that he's a BIG BOY and is MR. INDEPENDENT I gave him his own popsicle to hold and eat. {yes, in the house on the carpet} He loved it. He knew that he was being big like Mommy cause she had one in her hand as well.
What a fun way to kept COOL on a HOT day.
 I love eating popsicles with my boy.

:: three girls and a boy ::
{mermaid princesses, Ariel and Merliah - aka Maya & Aliyah}
For the last couple of days I have had the PRIVILEGE of tending a few angels... Maya(5), Aliyah(3) & Tehya(1). These three girls are the role-models of my future daughters. They are not only GORGEOUS on the outside, but the inside also. They are so sweet, I just had a blast with them. They opened my eyes to see that it IS possible to have four kids....
well for at least 6 hours. {wink}
 {little miss Tehya on the left}
 Co absolutely LOVED their playroom.
It's a huge family room downstairs filled with a slide, swings that hang from the ceiling, animals, dress-ups, shelves of books, a coloring table, games, puzzles and even a little kitchen. It's a little kid's world down there. He was in heaven.

:: brock's 25th birthday ::
{old picture, but one of my favs. Oh baby, he's handsome!}
My man is 25.
I have now known Brock for 8 years,
and he is more studly than ever.
He is the man of my dreams.
He makes me laugh when I need to most.
I get butterflies when I see his car pull up at home.
I love him with all that I am.
Happy 25th Birthday Sweetheart.
I YOU LOVE.
While Brock was getting ready for the day and he thought I was sleeping, I snuck to the kitchen and made his favorite breakfast - fruit and cream with sugar on top, and toast. Easy for me!
It was just a "normal day", as Brock would say. He went to work, then school.
I picked him up from school and had a surprise evening for him.
First, Olive Garden for dinner.
While we were at dinner, little did he know, our friends were showing up at our house for dessert. They were so sneaky! I was proud.
Skor Cake and ice cream....Brock's favorite.
For those of you who haven't tried it, you're missing out.
It is a chocolate cake, with holes poked in it with sweetened condensed milk and caramel drizzled in those holes, topped with whip cream and crumbled Skor bar. Rich, but to die for!
For those who didn't want a sugar over-load from the cake I made brownies as well.

{those who attended the party}
Thanks everyone for coming and hiding so well!
It was a perfect way to end a great 25th Birthday.

:: monkey see monkey do ::
My little monkey.
In Co's room I have a picture wall where I have simply taped pictures in an odd shape. I am not sure when he actually saw me put them up. Yesterday I walked into his room where he was playing and he found an old picture of Brock and I that stays in his toy box, and he was trying to make it stick to the wall. Hilarious.
I smiled so big.
 He cracks me up, and keeps me on track at all times, reminding me how important my actions are to him. Yikes. Pressure.
 + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + +
We went out for ice cream last night.
Oh, how Cohen loves ice cream! He MUST have his OWN spoon to DIP in our cups.
{I love this picture. Neither boy knew I was taking it.}
  {He takes a bite then says Mmmmmm! Every bite.}
