:: call me crafty ::
 I did a little remodeling to Brock and I's old dresser.
Sanded it down a little, didn't even have to strip it...
 Primed it, and spray painted it...
 Did a little distressing and painted the knobs navy blue.
I was pleased at how it turned out.
It's going to look SO CUTE in Cohen's new room.

Also - I made a FHE BAG from scratch. My sister-in-law Emily gave me this idea for FHE with young ones. You fill this bag with items of all kinds {a boat, apple, little book, cotton ball} and you attach scriptures with each item to read. Then everyone can guess what the item has to do with the scripture.
The little ones LOVE to pull an item out of the bag.

:: SWIMMING at Grandma Sheryl's ::
COHEN :: NAOMI :: CORBIN
{Our 3 little fishes}

Cohen's starting to get used to swimming. We haven't been too many times. He does good at getting dunked. I guess you could say he likes it, mostly because Dad does it.
:: Aunt Jenna's BIRTHDAY/GRADUATION ::
 What a memorable day for my beautiful sister-in-law.
She turned 18 on the day she graduated from Snow Canyon High School.
 Making one serious birthday wish....

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY and Congrats Jen!
We LOVE your stinkin' guts.
:: FHE @ the ST GEORGE TEMPLE ::
 We visited the Visitor Center for FHE.
There is a wonderful spirit in this building, as well as on the temple grounds.
We are definitely going to have to adjust to traveling more than 5 mins to go to the temple in Texas.
 Cohen saw Jesus and said "Jesus, hug him!"
He wanted a hug badly from Jesus.
He reasoned with Grandpa and touched his toes.
 Progression of a picture....

 There's not too many thing that touch my heart more than hearing Cohen yelled with excitement "TEMPO!" when we pulled up.

:: S.H.A.C ::
Sand Hollow Aquatic Center
 Brock and I took Cohen to the SHAC down the street from my parents. We were almost the only ones there! It was quite nice. Although I did not swim, {I was the designated picture taker} I had such a great time watching Cohen experience something NEW for the first time. I love watching his expressions. And most of all, I LOVED watching the two boys I ADORE play and do some male bonding.
 At first, Co was a little timid and wanted
Brock right by his side at all times.
But after about 10 mins he got more brave.
He LOVED LOVE LOVED the big boy slide, riding down FAST with Dad.

 Blowing "bubbows" with Daddy.
I love my little fish.

So proud of your accomplishment.
Can't wait for you to graduate
high school on your birthday tomorrow.
:: BONFIRE with BUDDIES ::
 Brock and I decided to get CRAZY and stay out til 1:00 am Saturday night.
Thanks to my parents listening to our sleeping baby at home.
We went to Josh's and had a bonfire and made SMORES.
We laughed. I love laughing with friends! It just feels good.

 Matt pretending his roasted vienna saugage was a cigar.

Those who were in attendance:
 Matt and Meg Wiest
Danny Davenport and Charlene Styles
{on their 1st date}
Josh and Mckayla
Brock and Lis

Thanks everyone for making it this night feel like the "good old times"!
:: a SHOWER for SHELLY ::
 Believe it or not, we are only due less then a month apart.
YIKES. What is growing inside me?! A big baby boy.
 {Meg - Kendyl & Ash - Lindsay & Tessa - Shelly - Me}
I LOVE baby showers.
I told Shelly how they are better than Christmas!
She is going to be world's best mommy, I'm sure of it.
She looks beautiful as ever.
Can't wait to meet baby girl Messerly.
:: Mathews Family Party ::
{Travis - Abbey - Mckayla - Maddie}
 The weather couldn't have been more enjoyable this evening.
All the Mathews family got together for a picnic at the park so I could visit with them ONE LAST TIME before the big move to Texas.
 {Korbin - Tyler}
 {Brock - Co - Cort - Dad}
Playing Corn in the Hole.
 Lois and Phil Hulme - my adoptive grandparents.
These two are one of a kind. I'm convinced they are going to live forever. Years keep passing, but I don't think they are aging. They are still as sharp as a whip.
I love them with all my heart.
{Uncle Dean-Jake-Rach-Jamie-Em-Brock-Marty-Uncle Craig-Melody-Aunt Karma}
 I can't believe this is the only picture I got of most the group. I was too busy soaking it all in, being with my wonderful family.
Our BBQ was very yummy, the company was a million times better.
:: easily entertained ::
A few things that Cohen has been VERY entertained by lately...
 My parents got a new washer and the box is now Co's play house.
 He found my mom's hat in her closet - I think he thinks just because it's close to his size that it's his now.
 Cohen wakes up saying lawn mower and blower.
He wants to go inside Grandpa's shed to look at them daily, and whenever he sees one at any store they are a must see.
He LOVES to look at them, but once they are turned on he is out of their sight. The other day my parents were doing yard work and my dad put his sound proof ear phones on. It was hilarious.
Cohen just sat there and watched Grandpa.
 Little boys are the best.
So very easily entertained.
:: the spin park ::
 Cohen and Kai have so much fun at this age.
They both want to be just like their dads, it's darling to watch.
We all went to the "spin park" in Green Valley.
It's sort of a BIG KID park, but they still had a great time.

 These two men are such wonderful dads.
Their sweet boys ADORE them.
