I turned 27
oct 9th
My birthdays are always more than I could ask for.
Brock was working labor and delivery and had to go into work very early, but I still woke up to a decorated house and cinnamon rolls baking in the over with a fruit and yogurt parfait, with PULP free OJ. He knows the way to my heart.
The boys and I went to one of our favorites, the jump house. We had the place to ourselves like usual. They got out some serious energy, I read my book and relaxed. We even had a few friends meet up with us to play.
 BEST TIME OF THE DAY.
Brock surprised me with new strings and a tune up for the guitar. I am a beginner, teaching myself how to play. Yikes. Also, he got me a $40 pillow....AMAZING! My body is changed just from a pillow. Clothes, birthday cash, new scensy smells.... SPOILED.
We played out back, well I just sat back and watched. Enjoyed every second of my sweet boys playing and laughing.

  Happy Birthday.
I love my life.

N A T U R E  P R E S E R V E
We had a free saturday, and it was BEAUTIFUL outside.
So we ventured out on a new adventure....
The Fort Worth Nature Preserve.

Nature is so good for the soul!
And so is Bubba's Back 40.
We took a wrong turn to the preserve and we found Bubba's.
Very good burgers and kids meal come with a messy popsicle.
They know how to do it!

Such a memorable day as a family.
I love seeing new things with my babes.
Angel and the baby shower

For some funny reason, my sweet friend Angel doesn't like to be celebrated and get spoiled and ready for her new baby boy to come. But dang, can that girl DANCE!! 9 months pregnant and she can still move like Michael Jackson. Her goal was to have her water break on the dance floor, which didn't go as planned, but our baby shower/girls night was ROCKIN'! What doesn't need a little dancin', chocolate and girl talk every now and then. :)

UNREAL, right?! PERFECT leap, dialated to a 4, ready to give birth at any moment. This one not her only leap of the night either. AMAZING WOMAN. Every one needs an Angel in their life.

And while I danced the night away, my boys had their own fun-
movie night and popcorn. :)
FT. WORTH SCIENCE MUSEUM

Our ward does some pretty fun play groups where a big group of moms and kids go do something fun to socialize. Such a perfect idea! A couple of weeks ago we went to the science museum. I was tending Knox Seals so three kids was a little crazy, but we made it work.

Science is ALWAYS fun!
happy 28th birthday
to this BABE of mine
SEPT 13TH - FRIDAY THE 13TH
 He deserves the world.
He is becoming a Dr. His hard work is paying off and the knowledge he learns already benefits are family.
So proud of him, so in love with him, so happy to celebrate his life!
Upon request, we went to the high school and played SOCCER and baseball. We were all in heaven! I could have stayed there for hours and hours, heat and humidity or not.

 Next stop, JAMBA JUICE! Mmmmmm.

We had such a fun day, we even had cake early, since Brock and I went out on the town that night.
Rock climbing and Torchy's.
Soccer, family, presents, jamba, cake, rock climb, Torchy's! Pretty much a perfect day if you ask me.

Of course we ended the night with some sparkling cider. :)
The weekend was full of fun. The day after his birthday I surprised him with friends over for cake and ice cream. The funniest part about this, is I could NOT get him out of the house. He was studying, and watching a football game, so I baked his cake while he was watching football, and he had no idea. I'm so sneaky!! I even snuck our friends in while he was studying in his office, right by the front door. I actually tuned the bathroom tub on that's next to his office. We all stood out in the family room and Co went in and said "Dad, come here and see what I made!" When he walked out we sure surprised him!
 The Blain's, Philipp's and Webb's came.
Two cakes, and a Sunday birthday feast - Ribs, potatoes, corn on the cob and Jello, Brock's favorites.

Happy 28th Birthday my sweetheart.
I wish I could celebrate YOU everyday.
the after party
after our family pics we stayed at the stockyards to play and enjoy out time together as a family....

Cowboy on stilts? only in TEXAS.

Cohen has always wanted to go through the wooden maze. He mentions it every time we are there. This time we gave in. It's quite the maze too! It took them 26 minutes, so it's not just a baby one. I was too cheap to have us all go, so I watched from the observation deck. :)
They got their ticket punched when they finished and picked a prize. Co was satisfied.

Pictures, maze and the heat made us all HUNGRY.
So we grabbed a burger at one of the shops there.

On our adventure down a back alley we ran into an interesting lady....she came cruising down the way towards us on a pony with no saddle or anything.
She stopped by us and let the boys pet the pony. She was telling us who life story and how calm her pony was, she was very old and she said she could do just about anything with her. After saying this she then hopped off and crawled under the pony and through its legs. YIKES. Nope, the pony didn't move. We watched wide-eyed, I tried hard not to giggle.
Very entertaining, very interesting.
We love adventures.
