The Boys as of late...

Cohen got his first library card. :)
He has learned to read, and it is amazing watching your kids learn to read. The human mind is incredible. He is reading BOB books and almost done with the first set, sounds out any and every word possible that he sees.
We have also been on a paper airplane kick at our house. I am getting pretty impressed with my airplane making skills. ;)
PUZZLE MANIA in the house!! I absolutely LOVE this obsession right now. The boys work together and our QUIET for an hour or even two at a time. Hope this stays awihle!
Lately, grocery shopping has been a dream. I have simply brought a small notebook and pen for each boy and then draw and write the whole time I shop. WOOOO! Bless you children.
Missing curling my hair.... Obviously still short to curl. I laughed at this pic, feeling like a grandma maybe?

Cohen is LOVING his bike more than ever. Becoming quite the daredevil. Starts at the top of our driveway hill and rides down.
We have had 80 degree weather which means shorts and ice cream if you ask me!
Sweet Brend still LOVES his motorcycles. He got to sit on our friends' motorcycle and was in HEAVEN.
This boy WILL NOT stay in his chair at meal time.... The other night I had enough and found a GREAT solution. My belt serves more than one purpose. :)
A little quirk I love about Brend right now is he plays with his eyebrows. :) Weird maybe, but I love it.

Cohen update:

Puzzles and reading, eating more than mom sometimes, becoming a little picky when it comes to food. Out of the blue he says "Mom, I'm so lucky to have you, thanks for being the bestest mom." Co always wants to be a best friend, always wants to constantly check on our neighbors and friends.

Brendon update:

His speech is getting better and better! Saying so much, pretty much anything. A few things I love that he says: When we are up high on the freeway (cause there are no hills here) he says "Mom, WE HIGH!" or when he says "Superprise!" surprise. Or every time he cleans up he sings "Team up, team up!" and calls Cohen "Tohen or Toes". The other night he peed the bed, which has only happend 3 times ever, he woke up and said "Mom, I sorry I peed, I just tried to sleep."
Brend wants waffles for every breakfast. He has done great with potty training, but now thinks he can just have accidents and keep playing, not sure what his deal is this week. Hmm...

These boys are best friends. Miss each other when they are apart. They play together for hours at times, and get into their own little world of make believe.

Valentine's Day
The boys slept in, and I was up bright and early to start our fun day, twiddling my thumbs patiently....
Brend has had a dry cough at night (I think due to our bipolar weather) so he was up for about 3 hours during the night and slept in until almost 10:00 am. Co woke up ecstatic to see the trail of candy from his room to the family room. He was so patient waiting 2.5 hours until Brend woke up to celebrate with.
Brock had to go to work at 5:00 am, so I woke up to yellow flowers (my favorite) and sweet card and a banana that said "I'm bananas for you! Let's never split". I walked into my bathroom to see my mirror drawn on, a circle that my face fit inside and the mirror said "One hot mama! Happy Valentine's Day" then I had hot tamales on the counter. He knows the way to my heart... candy.
I'm been on a craft kick lately and finished my felt wreath just in time for the holiday.
Co couldn't get him new USA puzzle together fast enough.
 Heart pancakes, of course.

Brend was thrilled with his new VERY OWN pencil box. He has wanted one just like Co for a long time.
Cohen wrote me my very first love note all by himself...
Drew a picture of me, that said "I luv MOM". LOVED IT and hung it up and will never take it down. :)
SUCH PERFECT weather!! The boys' new kite flew like a champ.

Brock has been working 15 hour days and studying on top of that. Such an incredible man. Our plan was to make dinner together after the boys went to bed, which we did, then we were going to play games and Wii Just Dance and make dessert, had a fun night planned, but we were both exhausted and fell asleep at 10:00 pm watching the Olympics. We woke up at 1:00 am still on the couch then went to bed. Ha. We must be getting old!
 I'm completely in
L O V E
with my three boys.

A R T

Much needed rough-housing

Even after working a 28 hour shift, this hunk of mine comes home to two boys that have been missing him greatly.
He somehow had enough energy to make their day with some wrestling and pillow fighting, their two favorites with Dad.

Fort Worth Stock Show

Went to the stock show with our good friends the Ben, Sutton & Pepper Fox. It was.... Stinky and over priced to be honest, but fun. I think the boys enjoyed it.

I think the boys MAY have liked checking out the giant tractors more than the animals.
