Easter 2015

This Easter came and went extra fast this year. I blame it on the hustle and bustle of getting ready to move and travel plans and what not. Bad excuse. I am quite mad at myself that I didn't take more time to focus on the meaning of Easter and teach my boys more about the life and resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We did have some Easter fun. Some moms from our ward had an egg hunt at the turtle park. The weather was great. All the kids were super excited and had a blast. Brend was shy and kept to himself, but he had a good time.

Our sweet little Pepper, she is the cutest thing ever. Going to miss her saying "Lissa" and letting me give her big hugs.
She is Brend's little lady. Love her.

Saturday morning we had a little hunt at our house with the Wang's. We were suppose to go to a church to join the city, but we missed the memo that the hunt was a week before Easter weekend. Weird? I think so. The kids still had a fun time.

For Easter Sunday dinner we went to the Fox's house with the Wang's and Mierjeski's. It was so yummy and fun to spend with our "family friends". We are lucky to have then all.

Harvey Grant
4 months old
March 14, 2015

Oh man, this boy has my heart.
He is the sweetest thing alive. Such a chill and easy going baby. Just what we needed at this time in our crazy circus life.
He is so smiley every time you make eye contact with him but he is NOT laughing at all. We try SO hard. It's gotta be coming soon.
I call him my "whatever" baby. Meaning, he just does what we want when we want or have to I should say. With three kids, getting him on a set schedule has been tricky. I sleeps on the go, or takes an hour nap in his crib if we're home. He eats very well and has done great starting solids and rice cereal.
I put him to bed at 8-9 pm and he usually wakes up around 6-6:30 to nurse then goes back to sleep for a few more hours.
His schedule is perfect for our life right now.

We can't get enough of our Harva Darv.
Cohen and Brendon absolutely love him. There are never annoyed or jealous. When he cries they want to help always.
Cohen has become so so good with him. Can calm him down better than me sometimes, and Harvey lights up instantly when he's around. He loves to coo and goo at Brend too. I love seeing my boys together and love each other so much.
I pray this lasts forever.

MATCH DAY
March 16, 2015

A day we have been anticipating for four years finally came.
And boy it did not disappoint. After putting all our energy (physically, emotionally, mentally) into working towards a dream it has finally come true...
Brock got into an Orthopedic Surgery Residency
in San Antonio, Texas.
Hallelujah!! I can't begin to write how proud I am of him. He had a dream, he gave it his all, he NEVER gave up even when others told him to, he shot for the stars and he got them!
What an incredible experience the past four years have been. Some very dark days, long days, days I never want to live again... but all the good days and good times and growth out number them by far.
We are super excited to start our next adventure in San Antonio.
Now if we could just find a house....that would be great. :)

Turner Falls Park
Davis, Oklahoma
March 10-11

This was a family adventure to remember!
Turner Falls is a gorgeous place, had no idea it was so close to us. We only had to drive just under 2 hours to get there and it was well worth the one night stay. The weather was beautiful and all three boys were darling, so excited to be together and loved every minute. We did quite a bit of walking and hiking and there were very little complaints if any. I was very proud of them.
There is something about the outdoors that is extremely therapeutic. So necessary to get out in nature every now and then.
We rented a small cabin since the nights were still almost freezing, and it was darling. Harvey didn't stay very warm kicking his blanket off all night, so I was up about every hour. That did not ruin the fun though! I forget how much work camping is (even in a cabin) but it was worth every minute.
