Little Cohen update....

He is turning into a big boy, no more baby face. Well, he's still little, but this new big boy outfit makes him look BIG! Yikes. He is also loving to play peek-a-boo now, and is rolling over from his tummy to his back more often.

here's a peek-a-boo clip.

and one rolling over.

Kalza Reunion!

The Garza's came to Provo for Christmas and we had a blast! It was so much fun seeing our three babies together for the first time. They are all three months apart. We went to Melissa's cabin and stayed up way too late, and ate way too much sugar. It was great! We love our friends and are forever grateful for the great examples they are to our family.

THE GANG. we went from 6 people to 9 within 6 months.

the mamas and the babes.

cohen took his first snowmobile ride. we had to ride from the main road into to the cabin, which was fun. he seemed to like it and not mind his freezing cold face at all.

cohen & troy playing. cohen is doing so much better at sitting by himself, as long as there's a toy in front of him.

practicing his balancing skills with daddy.

Cohen and Brooklyn, sittin' in a tree. . . .

Cohen and his first girlfriend.
Brooklyn Taylor Garza is the daughter of our best friends the Garza's, and they are in Provo visiting from Dallas for Christmas. YAY! Cohen and Brooklyn met each other for the first time the other night and we had a blast snapping tons of pictures of them. Sweet Brooklyn just sat there and wondered what was going on, while Cohen kept trying to hold her hand and snuggle.

Cohen trying to sneak the hand to hold....

Making his first early! Silly boy. Taking after his daddy.

more about Cohen......of course.

Cohen is so much fun everyday! I just keep wanting to post more and more about him everyday.

We are LOVING having Daddy not in school right now. We get to play on Saturday mornings with him on mom and dad's bed.

Everyday he wants to stand by the window. It cracks me up!

Yes, another picture on our walk. This smile made me laugh.

Just a quick cutie clip of a little jabber.
He is jabbering non stop these days.

He's doing so good with cereal now. He gets so excited when we start getting it out to make. Smart little squirt.

Cohen is laughing more and more. He has a very contagious laugh.

Naomi Lille Mathews

I have a niece! And she is dang cute. My brother Cort and his wife Emily had their second baby on December, 17th. Both Em and Naomi are doing awesome. They live in St. George, and I feel Naomi calling my name to snuggle her! Can't wait to hold her in 2 day! WOO. She is so sweet, and big brother Corbin loves her.

What's new with Cohen. . . .

Cohen is learning to love rice cereal a little better. Last night was the first time he did good without gagging on every bite. Also, he's now opening his mouth when the spoon gets close to it. His new favorite thing is to stand on the couch and look out the window. I think it makes him feel like a big boy.
He just loves it.

Here's a clip of him enjoying rice cereal a little better.

Annual Mathews Family Christmas Party

Held the first weekend of December every year, we always seem to have a blast. The whole family can no longer fit and Grammy's house, so we have to do it at the church. We had a yummy Christmas dinner, played a few holiday games, had a talent show, Santa came and best of all....decorated brown paper bags to catch candy in, thrown by "the candy shooter"!

The Candy Shooter.

Waiting for candy....

Here comes the candy!

My dad and his brother sang with George Strait-on the spot.
