My sweet Grandma Great passed away on Thanksgiving Day. She was nearing the age of 92, and had been fighting health problems for years. You may be thinking "how sad to have happened on a holiday", but it was actually a blessing and some what of a coincidence. A little about Grandma-- Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving, and she always hosted an amazing dinner. You could never find dust anywhere in her house, and it seemed she was always in her kitchen baking something yummy. You never left her house without swinging on the clothesline or picking out a "treasure" from the scary basement or garage. She always gave extra tight hugs, and always smelt like perfume. She was very witty and very sharp until the day she died. She had her own funeral planned, and it was such a perfect day.
I love you Grandma Great, and I'll see you in Heaven!

Two handsome men--My sweet dad gave a beautiful family prayer, and my brother Cort gave a perfect tribute to Grandma in the funeral.

Cohen slept through the whole funeral service....what a good boy.
And there's Corby going through Grandma's purse. Ha.

It was a freezing cold day! We had to un-thaw Cohen in the car. He didn't move or show any expression for a long time. Poor little guy, he was a trooper.
