:: a visit with Great Grandma "Higgy" ::
Last night our little family took a short drive to
Spanish Fork to visit Brock's Great Grandma Higginson.
SHE IS A GEM.
At 92 years old, she is still living at her own house, driving her own car short distances, and living life to the fullest.
Brock and I were in complete amazement to how sharp and witty she is to this day. She remembers events coming up in our lives, and little details about all her grandkids lives. She has 60 great grandchildren. Wow. She is as sweet and positive as ever.
I asked her what her secret to life was and all I got out of her was, "I never thought I would be a cripple." Ha. She made that funny remark because she walks with a cane.
I believe her positive attitude towards life is what keeps her going.
I want to be just like Grandma Higgy when I grow up.
Cohen LOVED her little shoes from Holland.
Trying to get a self-timer picture of us 4 was hilarious.
These two were a few of many attempts.

I'm so glad you're coming to Texas! I think you'll love it. And yes, come out and visit us. We're not super close to Fort Worth (45 min maybe?), but you're welcome to stay with us if you don't want to get a hotel! Oh, and I hear the Fort Wort zoo is amazing...way better than the Dallas zoo:)
Those shoes totally made me laugh. Maybe its just the picture but his face makes it look like he thinks theirs nothing weird about wearing them. lol.
