The Kitchen Family

ONE WEEK OLD.

 A little about BRENDON at one week old:

 :: Rarely cries - only when a cold wipe touches his bum to be changed. When he wakes up and is hungry, he'll fuss for a min but no cries.

:: Nurses VERY well. Eats every 3 hours during the day, last night during the night I only fed him twice, once he went 4 hours and once 5 hours in between feedings. Let's hope he keeps this up. No complaints about nursing, 

other than let's just say he has one heck of a suck. OUCH!

:: Very content just laying by himself.

:: He poops and pees more than most newborns, would be my guess. I guess it's a blessing he has a VERY good digestive system.

:: He seems to like his sponge bath. LOVES getting his head rinsed under the tap.

:: Has VERY long hands/fingers/feet/toes

:: Sleeps most sound when swaddled.

:: Loves his hands by his face.

 Tubby time / Grandpa caught his smiling from a gas bubble I'm sure.

 THE FEET

 Doesn't mind being in his carseat, at least for now - knock on wood!

 We are in absolute HEAVEN having my parents here, taking wonderful care of us all. They adore their grandkids. 

I LOVE seeing them create strong relationships with my children.
