UTAH for the HOLIDAYS
{Part Four}
We took our own little family outting one morning. We ventured to Sue's Pet Castle {I didn't even know if was still there} and checked out all the animals, which weren't very many. The boys enjoyed it, and it was entertainment inside since it was freezing out. We stopped by the park on the way home to get some energy out and that lasted all but 10 mins. SO COLD! Brend was mad, he would have stayed for hours.
Cohen helped Grandpa do something with bullets or guns or something manly. And we ate PLENTY good desserts, like vanilla bean ice cream, my favorite.
Another fun day was finding a great inside activity, we went to Let's Jump. The boys LOVE jump houses.
Brend drove the car with Aunt Danna. The Gray girls came down from Ogden for a few days to bring Bree home and to see us. So good to see them!
After the jump house we went to Pasta Factory for lunch. My old stomping grounds! Even talked to a few employees that still work there when I did. Good times, AMAZING food.
Jessie came to see us! I LOOOOOVE this girl. She is absolutely gorgeous and lights up any room she's in. I miss her, and can't wait until we live closer one day.
A GREAT surprise showed up at my parents one evening, Shelly Poole Messerly and her hubs Garrett and baby girl Julia! My trip wouldn't be complete without seeing her.
Thanks Shell for taking some time to see us!!

New Years Eve Day
We hiked in the red Dixie rocks with Grandma and Josh.
It was a little chilly but BEAUTIFUL!
So fun to hike on the rocks I grew up climbing on.

I LOVE MY MAMA!!
Cohen helped Grandpa take down the Christmas lights and he was lucky enough to get on the roof. He LOVED it.

New Year's Eve evening we spent with my parents and Phil and Lois Hulme. Very calm and low key, it was very enjoyable!!
Phil put on a few shows for us on my dad's Ukelele.
Brotherly Love/wrestling
I want to always be in love with my spouse as much as these two darlings have always been. They are the sweetest, sharpest, most fun to be around, elderly I will ever meet.
I LOVE YOU PHIL AND LOIS HULME! With all my heart.
And this picture...Makes me happy in any mood I'm in.
My dad makes this world a better place, just by his smiles and laughs. And Brend is a crack up saying "Cheeeee!".
I like this picture most because I can hear them both when I look at it.
I made my trademark cake {butter pecan cake, buttercream frosting, heath bar crushed on top} but it did NOT turn out right. Oh well, dessert is dessert. :)
Grandma tubbed the boys and they laughed and laughed, then went to bed so us adults could party.
We played games and watched the ball drop of course. Pretty exciting, right?! As long as my sweetheart was by me I didn't care what I was doing.
Brock went home New Years Day evening. I always feel like a terrible wife dropping him off at the St. George shuttle to ride to the Vegas airport alone. He is a trooper. He had to be back home two days earlier than us to get back for school.
The day after New Years we got to see Cort and his family a little more before we had to go back to TX.
These two cousins had a blast racing their new remote control cars together.
We love each other's kids like they're our own!!!!
Game nights with my parents, one of my best past times of all.
We did some after the holidays shopping with Christmas money. Bought me a "Neil Caffrey" hat. :) For those of you who don't know who Neil is I highly recommend watching all 4 seasons of White Collar, only starting with season 1 episode 1. You'll be hooked, I'm sure of it.
Loni and I were lucky enough to go to the temple the day before we left. I loved every minute of it. So good to have some alone time with my best friend who I miss SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad it hurts. Aunt Jenna was so sweet and tended all three of our boys.
Saying GOODBYE of course is always the worst and saddest part of it all. I don't like it one bit! Blah.
I just have to think happy thoughts and be grateful that we were even able to see everyone and get the opportunity to go to St. George for three wonderful weeks.
I am always amazed at how amazing, loving and supportive all our family members and friends are. I always know they are, but when we're around them, it's a million times greater.
THANKS TO EVERYONE who made our trip extra special by spending so much time with us, making lasting memories for our little family.
I've said it before, and I'll it again.....
WE LOVE ST. GEORGE, UTAH!
And miss you dearly.
Until next time....
