E A S T E R happenings
 {Sunday best, Easter morn}
Sunday was wonderful. There is something about Easter Sunday that is special, as if there is magic in the air. Feels warm and happy and peaceful. Very refreshing and hopeful. I will eternally be grateful for the life of the Savior, Jesus Christ, for the plan of Salvation and the hope of the Resurrection. This year was extra sweet teaching Cohen about the Resurrection. He understands and believes, I hope that never ever changes. I played a musical number in church, Kristen Montgomery sang 'I Know that My Redeemer Lives' and I accompanied on the piano. It filled the room with the spirit to the TOP. I have been playing the piano for many years and have never CRIED while played until this day. It touched me like it never has. I was blinking every second trying to see my music well enough. Thankfully it was towards the last page. Wonderful meetings at church. More of Sunday later in post.
Saturday our ward had the annual Easter egg hunt and picnic.
The weather was WARM, warm enough to roll up pants and get a suntan. The boys were beaming with joy. Swings, slides, sunshine, CANDY, friends, family.

This was the first year Brendon understood and conquered the egg hunt. Cohen was so quick I couldn't even get a picture of him!

 CANDY CHOMPERS.

Brendon flirtin' with his girlfriend Jersey, as usual.
Cohen could follow and play with Ty Montgomery all day if he could. I LOVE TY and I love the great example he is for my big boy. Makes me happy when they are together and I always have a hard time pulling Co away from him when it's time to go home.
In this collage below are three faces that are always on Brend's face. Tongue out when focusing hard, dirty mug with a smirk, or lips tight trying to doing something hard.
Not surprised I captured them all at the PARK, his little piece of Heaven.
 EGG DYING
I will just say this....
Boys are still a little young for egg dying. Just my opinion.
But, still fun! We tried something new and dyed the eggs in Koolaid and water. Worked great and smelt yummy.

 Then this happened.....
Soap and water did nothing to help, but after a long tub soak he was squeaky clean again. Few!

 EASTER MORN
Both boys got pez, bubbles, CANDY, a dollar in a dino egg, ties made my Mommy. Co got his first set of BOB books {beginner reading book, they are great!} Brend got a mess free markers set and book. They were pleased! Couldn't shovel the sweets in fast enough, of course. I'm ok with that a couple times a year!

After church we went to Andy and Beka Philipp's house for Easter dinner. There was five couples that don't have family that live close. It was nice!
 HAPPY EASTER!
from my two handsome bunnies.
