the month of ST. GEORGE
July 24th - August 23rd
PART ONE
UTAH HERE WE COME!!
The boys did AMAZING on both the flights. I wasn't nervous at all since these two flights were our 7th and 8th just the three of us flying. I think we have it down....knock on wood.
Can not tell you how happy and good it felt to hug my parents and to see the boys LIGHT UP.
Our first morning in St. George we had it all to ourselves to just relax and get settled. The boys went crazy being able to play outside late morning in the cooler weather.
{TX never cools down}

We met Grandpa and Grandma at lunch at firehouse subs then came home and built the firetruck puzzle. :)
Brock's family was all out of town until about 5 days after we got there so we had to wait patiently. :(
Two good things about our first day there... I found the perfect note from my sweetheart with notes to us all. Also, I got to spend the afternoon with my bestie Loni who gave me my new hairdo. LOVE MY SHORT HAIR!
The next day Loni and I and our boys went and swam at Meg's parents. So glad we were able to see them before they went back up north.
Aubree, Olivia, Cohen & Brend & Adyn
I think Cohen's body was a little weirded out by the elevation change? He had a really high fever but no other symptoms. That was my only guess since his body has always reacted to this.
CAMPING on The Manti
We were lucky enough to be in Utah for a little family reunion/camping trip with my mom's family. The weather was PERFECTION. Warm in the day, and it got FREEZING at night, which I was hoping for. I am 100% an out doorsy girl.
I NEED mountains in my life.
And I think my boys do too!
Brendon wanted his window down the whole time to feel the breeze and see the mountains. He kept smiling saying "Mom, BIG T mountains!" {not sure why he always puts a T after BIG}

HEAVEN!! We were all filthy after being at our campground for five minutes or less.
My Aunt Danna had all of us write a note or pictures on a white board for Bree who's on a mission in Costa Rica and she took our picture with it to send to her. Such a great idea!
4 wheeler lovers!
Corby lost his 1st tooth on the Manti! Such a fun memory for him.
Our first night there we got hit with a storm. Can you say MUDDY MESS?! But that didn't ruin anything. It got chilly, and my boys probably could have used a winter coat, but we still loved every minute.
Check out those muddy shoes!! I think Brend's had an extra 3 inches on him.
Cort caught the one and only fish the whole time. We all still loved taking turns casting and HOPING we would get lucky.
Brend's first ride in the back of a truck! He was looking confused, wondering what was going on. HA.
SOOOO fun to all be together. :)
We were only missing Brock {who was in PHX doing a rotation & Ann who was staying to help her sister who was sick}
Hitting golf balls for Uncle Todd.
Uncle Todd's memorial.
Gabe, Grandpa John, Emily, Chelsea, Cort & Parley, Corby, Naoms & Em, Danna, Dakota {Sam's boyfriend}, Sam, Louie, Mom, Brend & I, and Dad & Co.
One day Brend and I snuck away on a 4 wheeler adnevture! Such breathtaking views, we were on THE VERY TOP of Manti mountain.
On our adventure we ran into hundreds of sheep, which is normal up there. They are all very friendly.
My gorgeous mama and I.
Every one needs a Tami in their life. They would be much happier.
SMORES!
Doesn't get much better than being in the mountains, roasting mallows, listening to George Straight and Oldies with your parents dancing in the background.
Grandpa is starting Co young with Coyotes calls. He was a natural! Grandpa was so proud. ;)
On our trip home, we pass the Manti Temple. It is absolutely beautiful! And we passed some broccoli trees. :)
Camping is tiring and stinky,
but MAN we love it!
Such wonderful ever-lasting memories on this trip.
Thanks to my family for making them with us.
