We figured we better check out the TX state fair at least once while we live here. In a nutshell, it was NOT worth the money. But let me explain... we did make some good memories as a family, but we are cheap people and for sure not "fair" people. We figured we spent $95 in the half day we traveled there and spent there, AND we even packed our own lunch. With that said, we were together as a family, and had a new adventure. So it was a good day.
The boys had WAY more fun riding the train from Fort Worth to Dallas than anything at the fair I think.
Brend's first ride....NO GOOD. This was a little to fast for his first. I sorta expected this, but not tears, maybe just a little scared. He hated it! Haha. Cohen would have gone a few times.
Dog show was pretty cool actually. This lady was hilarious, shaking her booty and making dancing trains with three dogs. Co lost interest but made his way a few rows in front of us to make a new friend with a stranger man.
Looks like fun, right? This is us waiting in line to ride the ferris wheel.
The ferris wheel FREAKED me out. That's a silly face up above but really I pretty much held my kids and closed my eyes the whole time. I have never been scared of heights, until I became responsible of two little ones, now I'm pretty whimpy when it comes to things like this.
Not too much more to say about the TX state fair.
We probably won't see it again, and I won't be sad.
