 Family temple trip day!
Brock and I had planned a date to the temple, but as we were walking out the door to take the boys to some friends to play I realized my temple recommend expired last month. Blah. My bad.
When you're given lemons, make lemonade!!
We made a day out of it in Dallas, Brock went to the temple while the boys and I found a park and played, then we went to eat at Jason's Deli. I must say, it was a BEAUTIFUL day for some picture taking on the temple grounds.

As we were walking around before Brock went inside, two workers were putting up a new flag. The boys were amazed and curious. The workers happily asked them if they wanted to help. So sweet!!

Always a good day at the temple...
Inside or out.

Practice Practice Practice
 Old Town Keller

Trying to get better at shooting manually outside,
while scoping out some new photo shoot locations. :)
My good friend Kelly Smith is leaps and bounds ahead of me in the photography area, so we took our patient kids out for some practice. Don't worry, they earned a park visit and a treat afterwards.
I wonder how long my boys will allow me
to use them as my models.....???

 A taste of real life....

 Love my models.
St. Pat's Day

Green jammies, green breakfast, green green green.
Park playing, bike riding... just a normal day with a twist.

The sweet grandparents and their grandson behind Co are wonderful people. I met them this day at the park, they are wonderful. They made me feel like HOME. They reminded me of my sweet parents and what it feels like to have loved ones next to you. They are from Utah and Idaho but have lived in TX for 20+ years. Their daughter is going to chemo for a spinal tumor that's cancerous. Speaking with them made my heart hurt for them, but they were perfect examples of being hopeful and happy even when they were going through an extremely hard time. I wanted to hug them both before I left but I didn't. So I had to sneak a picture to help me remember them.

 We played hard this day.
And we ended the day with more green food.....
wish I think will be the last of the green food due to this nasty looking meal. Yikes.
 Happy St. Pat's Day!
St Pat's party @ stockyards
& playing in the RAIN

The weekend before St. Patrick's Day we played at the stockyards, they had a free mini carnival. We like free, and we love the stockyards. Cohen was giddy about the pony ride, Brendon refused and never regretted it for a second.

 FISH RACE
Brend chose to race Shark Bait Co chose Charlie.
Cute little game where you blow bubbles with a straw.

Giant leprechaun that threw bubble gum gold, again, Brend just wanted to snuggle and be shy by his mama. I'm not gonna lie, I kinda like it. He can be my baby as long as he will.
 Then.... it RAINED!
Brock grabbed both boys, I opened the door and they RAN.

 GOOD DAY. :)
