Brock's 29th birthday
{September 13th, obviously}

Oh how I love celebrating this man.
The night before his birthday, we went on a date to Red Lobster. So yummy, and much needed alone time. We had a blast!!!! We talked non stop the whole time, couldn't get enough words in. Brock is truly my best friend, and this time in our lives is oh so crazy, but super exciting talking and planning our upcoming future. I love it. Love being in public with him too, I just want to show him off to the world, and he makes me feel like a queen.
He was lucky enough to switch a night shift with a friend and get his birthday off! He got to sleep in four extra hours than normal (he's barely getting sleep these days). The boys could not wait for him to open their homemade shield and sword and cards they made him.
Something I love about Brock is he never wastes a moment.
He is always having fun, life of the party, making everyone happy around him. Just by simple ways, and those ways are things our boys live for.
 What's a "dad's day off" without a little wrestling?

After German pancakes and gift opening, we piles ourselves and our bikes in the van and headed to our favorite park.... the hidden golf course park.
We park then ride a ways on a trail that leads to the park.
It makes us feel like we are in the woods, and it's less than a mile from our house.

Cohen has been trying to swing in a full circle and get back to the platform for a LONG TIME. I happened to capture his first time making all the way around.
So proud, as you can tell by that grin.

 Boys will be boys...
and it's WONDERFUL!!
So easy when there's no potty anywhere near us.
I was hiding during hide and go seek, but always thinking how lovely it was feeling to have pants, shoes and a jacket on and feel a little chilly! It was only 58 degrees at the park. HEAVENLY!! And 102 the day before. So bipolar, but I'll take it!
Bring on FALL baby.
 Hiding...
 Brend has by heart.
Side note: Things are going to change slightly when this new sweet baby is born, and this time around I am extremely sad about it. Cohen seemed so grown up and "adult like" from the beginning of his life that I never felt like I missed or hung onto a baby stage from him. When Brend was born, the transition was easy.
This time, I see it happening very differently.
We will see.

 LOVE THIS PICTURE.
This man is amazing, and a super hero to these boys of ours.

White chicken chili requested for his birthday dinner,
and chocolate chip cake with ice cream and whipped cream.

 Little football before bedtime.
This day made me soooo happy, not only celebrating BROCK but mostly because Brock was able to do so many things that HE wanted to do and never gets to.
Throughout the day we kept saying "this is the life!".
YOU HAVE MY WHOLE HEART Mr. 29 year old man.
Sexy as ever, and you still give me butterflies.
LOVE YOU BROCK!

Cohen's Kindergarten Work
Weeks 1-2
{Aug 25 - Sept 5}

I'm sure I won't be posting ALL his work, but it sure has been fun to see him progress already in the first two weeks.
He is LOVING school!
Music and recess are his favorite, as predicted.

 Way to GO Cohen!!
Broncos vs. Cowboys

Happy "early"
Birthday to Brock

 Surprise him!
This was Brock's first and last chance to make it to a NFL game this year. I decided it was close enough to his birthday that I could get him tickets for him and his buddy Eric Wang.
Our friends the Fox's got 4 tickets given to them from his work, so they invited me to come as well! Eric and split the time up with sitter next Brock. :)

The view from the "nose bleeds" where I sat with the Fox's. I thought it was actually a really cool view. Easy to see what was going on in every play.
Here's looking down on Brock and Eric who were on the 10th row.
Down sitting with Brock felt more like you were at a ball game. Fans got into the game. View was great!
We had a blast, especially laughing with the drunk lady behind us. :)
 Broncos for the win!!
Yes we live in Dallas, but we like the Broncos.
Especially when they win.
