All of us Kitchen's took a trip to Cali for some beach and Disney.
It was so fun to see our kids experience so many "first" this trip. Disney is just plain magical and the beach, well, we could live there.
When we first got to Cali went to Newport Beach. The kiddos were in Heaven! I am a wimp when it comes to cold water so I barely got in. Thankful for a manly husband that took the boys in as much as they wanted to play and jump the waves.
Harvey's first time even touching beach sand. He was a little unsure, but at this point in his life he wasn't very expressive anyway. I would say he enjoyed it. He wanted to eat handfuls of course.
The second beach day we went to Corona Del Mar which in my opinion is the best beach in the area.
Love notes in the sand from my sweetheart.
Uncle Matt was a good sport and lathered Harv with sunscreen one time. ;)
DISNEYLAND!
Such a magical place, I LOVE it! This had to be my favorite part of the trip, seeing my kids reactions being there for the first time. Going on rides, seeing characters, watching the parade and fireworks. It was everything they were hoping for and more. Thanks Heavens.
As we were leaving the park we stopped at a shop and let the boys pick one toy, anything they wanted (within a certain price range) and oddly enough they both chose Stitch from Lilo & Stitch.
They have loved these guys, Cohen more than Brendon. Co still sleeps with his every night.
Before we headed home we stopped at Corona Del Mar one more time to take some family pictures.
We got back to SG the night before Dad's birthday and had a little party. We were lucky enough to have Danna and the girls come down for a visit and get to spend time with them while we were in Utah. They are awesome and I miss them! Hate being so far away.
Dad got a GoPro from my mom.
Such a perfect gift for him and all his hunting, kayaking, hiking, fishing adventures.
Love being around family for birthdays! We have missed way too many.
Love this cute dad of mine. He will always be the greatest.
