Answer to PRAYER
WE GOT POURED ON!
It rained for about 6 hours.
It is 2:42 p.m. and it is only 81 degrees.
Ahh. Relief.
Cohen played out back for 45 mins with the door opened and he was IN HEAVEN, as was I getting chores done inside while watching/listening to him play out back by himself.
We're are enjoying every minute of this coolness.
Tomorrow's forecast....
HOT. 104 degrees for the high.
Bummer.

things i've been missing about UTAH:
- MOUNTAINS
- running into a familiar face at the store
- the dry heat
- CAFE RIO
- family and friends, of course
- feeling like I'm "home"

Things will start to get easier, I promise! I had the hardest time EVER when we first moved to Philly! Then I started going to play groups and girls nights with a bunch of girls from our ward and it helps tremendously! They have become our family out here and have made things a little easier! I will pray for you! It stinks, but it will be so worth it in the end!
Oh Lis, I will be in your SAME boat one of these days and I'll be calling YOU for advice on how to cope with being so far away from fam....but I KNOW you are going to get used to it and it will strengthen your marriage and family unit.... at least, that's what I hear about living far away from everybody. :)
