date night at home.
We have to get pretty creative these days with date night...
After the boys were in bed and sleeping {9:30 p.m.} Brock and I made DELICIOUS raspberry/banana smoothies that I'm still CRAVING. We went out back on the porch to enjoy them and play a few games of Bocce ball. Had a great little "chat time", which is hard to get these days with med school and two boys. Definitely needed and very important in a marriage, we are coming to find out more and more these days.

Brock was black, I was red. As you can see, he beat me. He beat me bad. My hand-eye coordination is not so great. I'll blame it on the dark. :)
During our game we found this little guy...Cute little hopper. We have seen a few frogs out back at night. One night there was a HUGE hopper about the size of a big softball. Couldn't get the camera quick enough.
I love this man.
I love date night with him.
Even if it is in our backyard.
He makes anything and everything exciting.
