trouble...
Two of Cohen's new favorites are to get naked, and to unlock doors.
I found him doing this the other morning, then we had "a talk".
It's moments like these that I want to laugh THEN cry.
Yesterday was one of those days. It was a flat out rough day. Cohen wouldn't listen to a word I had to say, Brendon didn't sleep much and wanted my full attention at all times, and I was very sleepy from not sleeping the night before, due to a crying baby. When Brock was on his way home so I started dinner. Cohen was playing on his own very well, Brendon cried himself to sleep in the bouncer since he was crying whether I was holding him or not. Brock got home and told me I looked pretty and asked how my day went. I then started to cry. Sometimes it's easiest to just say "it was just one of those days". On a more positive note, the evening was a completely different story. Life is ALWAYS better when Brock is home. He took the evening off studying and spent it was me and the boys. We ate pasta, and Brock and Cohen cleaned dinner up. While they cleaned up the kitchen, I fed Brendon then we danced. As I danced with my baby I watched my other two boys laugh and yell together. I couldn't wipe my smile off my face and couldn't help but think how lucky I am. There is opposition in all things - we have to have bad days every once in a while to recognize the good ones.
These are moments I live for.
Ones I NEVER want to forget.

That sure is one cute little bum. :)
We had to put a chain lock at the very top of the door from Abigail doing the same thing (but not naked...)
So sorry it was a rough day. And lack of sleep only makes things worse (at least for me. I can hardly function). Thank goodness for wonderful husbands saving the day at the end. :)
We've been having some rough days here, too. Must be those terrible twos! :)
HEY! I was just scrolling down your posts and checking things out an this cute picture caught my eye!
What a great post! As a mom its good to hear that other moms have these same days!
And it was great to read... there is opposition in all things. So true, so true.
