Surprise of a Lifetime
{Oct 8 - Oct 12}

The night before my 28th birthday I got a text from my good friend Carolyn asking if I had medicine for her little boy that was "sick"... It was 9:30 pm and something was fishy... It was weird she asked that and so late, she then asked if she could run over for a sec and grab the medicine... 10 mins later a knock at my door and I opened it to find my MOM and sister in law EMILY standing there! And sweet Eric Wang who picked them up from the airport. I was IN SHOCK that lasted at least 30 mins.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO amazing. It couldn't have been a more perfect time. So fun to have them here for my birthday and period! It was half way through Brock's Kentucky rotation and gave me enough strength to make it through the next month.

It was so fun to see the boys' reactions when they woke up to Grandma and Aunt Em. Cohen went to school for a half day then we played. My birthday started out with sweet rolls (of course)
and we met some of my friends at Panera Bread for lunch.

Another surprise that was a few days early, was my bike arrived! I'm in love with it. It only took Em and I two days to put together. ;)
That evening we went to Cohen's school to Family night bowling. He had been counting down the days and was so excited that Grandma and Em could come. We were very impressed by the bowling! Pictures don't do justice.

Our amazing friends the Wang's invited us all for dinner, and the missionaries as well. I felt special all day long!!

That night we had girls night in!
Face masks, foot soaks, and nail painting, and a chick flick.
Perfect night!

The next morning Co went to school for another half day, while Brend wasa trooper while us girls shopped at the Grapevine Mills Mall. H&M is the best. :)
Brend was thrilled to get a smashed penny with Grandma, but he wasn't so sure about the huge fake snake above him....didn't want to take his eyes off it.

The next day we had a morning at home and Mom and Em worked on my house! They cleaned, and cooked, and helped me put together the baby's room. What a load off my shoulders! It was a great morning.
We went and rode the mini train and then ate dinner at Torchy's.

My boys kept them busy at all times... Grandma played and entertained so much. They were thrilled to play their recent favorite game 4 corners with them.

Two amazing women that I can't live without.
They made me feel like a million dollars,
and gave me the motivation and strength to carry on and have more patients as a mom... hopefully it lasts until Brock gets home.

LOVE YOU LADIES!! xoxoxoxo
