COHEN IS FIVE!
 {June 20th}

HOW.

5 years has flown by incredibly fast.

My baby is BIG and oh so handsome.

Cohen is going non stop always, has energy and zest for life that every needs, always trying to make people laugh and laughing himself, giving hugs and kisses galore, still my sweet boy that is willing to reason through anything.

I am so proud of my boy.

He is anxious and excited to start kindergarten this month.

He loves anything and everything NINJA right now, especially Ninja turtles and Ninjago.

We had been counting down days until his birthday starting at 50 days until his big day, so it SUPER exciting for him. The whole morning I couldn't seem to steal any pictures due to excitement, and adding to the excitement we left for UTAH the next day too.

All he asked for for his birthday was a Whoopee cushion. Yikes.

Came out of nowhere, don't even know where he learns what one was. Co is quite the jokster, and this joke fits him well.

 Brock had a test early morning, came home and after Co opened gifts we headed to the lake beach in Granbury! Spent most the day there, then stopped at McDonald's (Co's dinner request) on our way home. The lake was so amazingly low, it was shocking. most parts we walked used to be covered in water. We still had a great day together!

Lame mom couldn't find her number 5 candle. Fail. He actually thought it was pretty sweet to light matches on his cake.

He chose strawberry cake with fun fetti frosting. And vanilla ice cream, of course, his favorite. :)

 Trying to make this great birthday last as long as possible, he insisted on putting together his new Lego Ninjago figure, with the help of super Dad and Brend.

I will always have a special place in my heart for you, my first baby. So much love for you in my heart it hurts sometimes.
