Meet Mozzie!
2008 Mazda 3
"silvery blue" as Cohen tells everyone
We found this car on Craigslist on a Sunday night, it was posted as only having 13,000 miles on it. So we jumped right on the deal! The next morning Brock drove to east Dallas to test drive and then it was ours. Once again, blessed big time! It really is practically brand new, the plastic covers were still on the cup holders in the back seat. I don't think anyone ever sat back there.
The cars story is this...
It belonged to an old lady with Dementia.
Extremely sad story, she shot her sweet husband thinking he was an intruder in their house, then she was put in a rest home until she recently passed away. She hardly ever drove the car.
Brock looks so good in it, not our idea color or even what we were looking for, but we feel like we scored big time!
We ended up buying it for $8,400.
We had been test driving other cars around that price with 70-80,000 miles on them.
We couldn't turn this one down.
YAY for Brock!
He FINALLY gets to feel like a king while driving.
He so deserves this.
Oh, and the reason why we bought this new car is our old honda broke down in Phoenix on Brock's last day of his rotation there. AGAIN, blessing. Not a coincidence that it was the last day...
The mechanic said there was at least $1,000 worth of work to be done (which the car wasn't even worth that anymore) but lucky enough Brock posted the car that day and it sold in 2 hours for $1,000. Brock then flew home and bye bye Ol' Red.
It had almost 250,000 miles on it, it was time.
Welcome to the family Mozzie!
